Participant Profile ~ Cole Mattox
Cole Mattox is a rising junior at Lord Botetourt High School in Daleville, VA and is in the National Honor Society. Outside of school, he likes fishing, hiking, kayaking, and reading. Cole plans on attending a four year college or university after high school and his first choice is Virginia Tech. He would like to study either cyber security or computer engineering in college. Cole attends St. James Episcopal Church in Roanoke, VA, and is very active in his parish youth program. He serves as a crucifer during Sunday services and volunteers at RAM House, a Roanoke ministry that works with the area homeless. Cole is a member of the Youth Mission Team (YMT) for the diocese where he helps plan and facilitate diocesan youth events throughout the year. About the upcoming Leeds Exchange he says "I'm looking forward to going on a plane for the first time, as well as go out of the country for the first time. I also look forward to seeing the Leeds youth from last year."

Hi, guys! Great to read about your exploits this side of the pond, especially in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Well done to Cole and t'others who braved the rain on the Cow & Calf. I know that your folks back home, Cole, and all the Saints of James are well proud of you!
