Day Two ~ Hitting the ground running.

The flight from Atlanta to London went well and with a good tail wind, we even made it there a few minutes early. A quick trip through British customs and baggage claim, we were here! Met by Ami and Liam, they guided us to the Tube and we jumped on the Piccadilly Line. After about 20 minutes we transferred over to the Bakerloo line to head to Marylebone Station. A quick stop at Starbucks, and then on to Wembley Stadium to check into the Ibis Hotel. We then headed to lunch at Nando's, where we reunited with Jodi, Ella, and Jack, and met our new friends, Mathew, John, and Nakita! A quick lunch and we headed back to catch the train back to Marylebone and take the Bakerloo Line to the south bank at Waterloo, where we boarded a boat and took a 40 minute cruise of the River Thames. Seeing many iconic London sites from the river was fantastic. Then we went to the 4D Experience where it even snowed while seeing London from a bird's perceptive. The highlight of the evening came next, as we got on the London EYE. A thirty minute ride on Europe's largest "observation wheel" was breathtaking. According to Nora, "This was my favorite spot today, because I have never been on a ferris wheel and it was iconic London!" Then we headed back via the Tube to our hotel and found dinner and called it a day.
